Don’t know what to make of it!. At the outset I must say the Sparkling Cream tea was very good value. It came as part of a package we purchased which included a tour of Charles Dickens former residence. The tour was surreal. somewhat of a cross between Madame Tussauds and Faulty Towers, but in an old fashioned English seaside way querky and amusing. I wouldn’t recommend it as a destination stop or a reason to visit Broadstairs but overall a pleasant experience in a run-down sort of way, The staff are very cheerful and happy to be of service.
