Browns of Brockley is a beautiful spot for a quiet coffee in Brockley. Just a stone throw away from the over-ground station, it’s the perfect place for a quiet afternoon of work. The place has a minimalistic design, with high wooden tables and stools, as well as a range of lower stools to sit on in front of the window. They serve Square Mile coffee at a modest price, and have delicious looking sandwiches for lunch. I had a really good cappuccino, and awesome Banana Bread. The tables are rather small so I wouldn’t recommend going there to work and spread out, but they do have Wifi if you are looking to plug in. The staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!
