The food is overpriced and the portion sizes are small. However, I love the vibe of this place at night. More of a bar than a restaurant I’d say.
Disappointing. A disappointing lunch! Decided to have the burger, it was very small around 5cm across and as tough as old boots, all topped of with frozen fries, can’t they make their own, I have been to the Gantry a number of times since it opened, this my last visit.
Great place. I completely disagree with the previous comment regarding food portion. I have eaten here on a number of occasions and find the food delicious, very tasty and well thought through. The Sunday roast is one of the best I have ever eaten, I highly recommend the beef, still slightly pink, (but can be more ‘done’ if required) and the thickest piece I have ever been served! I would go every week if I could!The management are very warm and friendly and are always thinking up new themes for the different months, be it mo-vember or the place being completely decked out for Christmas and Halloween.Give it a go, it’s worth it!
Opportunity Missed. The decoration is great as well as the atmosphere but once the food arrives the disappointment kicks in. Ive eaten here a few times and while the ideas there, the foods taste, quality and portion size doesnt deliver when compared to the price. Youll leave feeling more than a little cheated and definitely still hungry.
