Enjoyed dinner here recently with some friends. Calamari was fine, definitely not spicey despite the claim of chillies on the menu. But full marks for the liver, really well cooked and just the right textures. Always nice to see it on the menu. Good value port and wine. Too much consumed at those decent prices.
Great, fun and social wine bar with classic favourite dishes of which to name a few:. Satay, Deep fried Calamari, Fishcakes and Burgers are all delicious. Great variety of choice to satisfy even the most difficult. Good wine list and great value for money, Sunday roast perfect for a lazy, enjoyable Sunday spent together with friends.There’s Brinkley’s, the sister restaurant next door, which serves a little more sophisticated food, but equally as good. I would highly recommend these places if you want a fun evening out, Only downside is I live in Italy so can’t go there every week like I used to! it’s the first place I go to when I arrive back in London. Miss them both.
