Went here with a friend after strolling through the Natural History Museum. The place is gorgeous and great for pics and conversation. Their portions are definitely hearty, it took awhile for us to finish all our food. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive, despite the place being pretty empty when we were there.
Loved the place. Prompt and attentive service, great suggestions and I had the most amazing saltbush rump of lamb and I will go back for more. Perfect place to chill out on your own on a rainy evening with amazing food and lively beers and wines to match
One of my favourite spots in London. I was here recently with my Mum for dinner and it was gorgeous. We both opted for the half grilled chicken with all the trimmings and then shared a pavlova. Food was really tasty and I would highly recommend coming here next time you are in the area. I love the layout it is very chilled and homey. All round winner.
This is my favorite Bumpkin, hands down!As with their Chelsea location, Bumpkin is a distinctly British experience and highlights the absolute best of hearty, British cuisine. Everything from burgers to lamb chops to pies, Bumpkin caters to all.Decor at this location is a bit more polished than the Chelsea one, but similar with large wooden tables, large chairs, festive wall paper…Somehow both rustic and upscale. Casual but worth getting a bit dressed up for.The food is pretty much the best and I have had many many a pleasant meal here. I’ve included a series of photos from various visits to showcase their wide breadth of menu options. I would recommend their MacNCheese and Ribs for the starter, and if you have not already tried their Steak & Ale pie, you really really ought to. My favorite dessert here is their chocolate log.Pricey but well worth it. Perfect for an intimate dinner with a close friend or loved one.
