Some dishes here will tickle your interest and are good (Salmon ceviche was the best, the aubergine), some are may not appeal to everyones taste (honey glazed banana!), overall a cheerful place worth a check if you are really into your ceviches…

Chicama is a seafood restaurant on Kings Road. A welcome addition with its Peruvian cuisine, it completes this corner of the far end bit of Kings Road adding to the gorgeous Eight Over Eight and Medlar a stones’ throw away. You may get the feeling that this bit is way too far to venture too, not being close to Sloane Square tube or any tube for that matter. Yes there are buses in the area, but you need to be ready for an uber, taxi or bus to get here. If you are local, then lucky you. That said, this foodie corner represents, and it makes it worthwhile. Chicama is a light airy space with a terrace for the Summer. We popped in for a cocktail just before the lunch rush. I have had the pleasure of Peruvian food before from Andina which is amazing. The light, fresh ceviche is something very appealing. On this visit to the area, it was purely for a bit of secret research. For our quick drinks, we opted for a Pisco Sour and an Old Fashioned. Both drinks were good, with my guest complimenting the Pisco Sour in particular. As this drink is of Peruvian decent, you would expect them to know what they are doing. I will certainly pop by for lunch at some point too! The lowish score is because I have not eaten there yet. cookandpour.co.uk

Excellent food !!! Super nice staff and atmosphere. Had a great dinner with a friend. 4 courses for 2 are enough, even tough we had 6, it was a little too much !

Small (yet sizeable) plates. We ordered quite a fair bit and every dish was as delightful as the next. The fish tastes fresh, the fusion Peruvian works splendidly.
