Stopped by for a quick coffee and brioche before yoga.. I liked the bar, it made me feel home for just half an hour. Its very calm inside and with cute tables outside for summer mornings.. it just puts you in a good mood with its blue colorsFurther, they do the REAL fresh orange juice.. with REAL oranges squeezed at the moment, not English style!
I loved the ambience of this Sicilian cafe. Visited it for a Sunday Brunch with my sister before heading for a walk in London and we had a great service. The food was delicious and the portions were just the right size so you don’t feel too full, which allows you to try different courses. tigeronagoldleash.com
Insisted to try this restaurant although there were some negative comments about the price and rude service. The place was so cozy and close to South Kensington underground station. The latte was okay, probably tasted a bit different because it’s Italian coffee? (because few sources said that Italian has its own way in making and drinking coffee). However, the pasta was nice. Not every Italian restaurant has delicious pesto but Iddu’s pistacchio pesto is good and refreshing! Also it was my first time having pesto with prawns. Service was great, didn’t experience any rudeness at all.
Been here a couple of times now and despite some of the products being of quality the constant bad service and ‘attitude’ makes this place unapproachable and simply not very welcoming. Just because of the seemingly ‘pretentious’ location doesn’t excuse THEIR pretentious behaviour and this is coming from a South Kensington resident! Will not be coming back.
Nice ambiance and delicious tagliolini with pistacchio sauce. The involtini with burrata were good as well, the cannoli looked delicious but I’ll have to go back to try.
The area is small and cozy. The open kitchen gives off a homely feel. Perhaps its consistent with the white and wood combination, a classic modern home deco duo. The attire is typical of the upscale South Ken, split between chic and trendy gym-wear.The Tuna Tartare and Crunchy Green Avocado Salad come highly recommended. I decide to be different and choose the Salmon and Avocado tartare. After all, theres no such thing as too much avocado. Or so I think. The tartare is similar to a large sushi without rice. The flavours are fresh, but cant say Im thrilled, and the portion is slightly generous for an appetizer. Seeing the tuna around me, Im slightly envious of my seemingly sensible brunch-mates who didnt go for the overcado. The salad is a more exciting affair. The leaves have a garden freshness that goes well with the crunchy nuts and the occasional hint of creamy advocado. The avocado isnt overpowering, which may have been disappointing if my antipasti didnt have it in abundance. The textures and flavours are well balanced, but I can’t say I’m blown away, nor convinced by the prices. saanyagulati.com
I found this little and very nice restaurant on a saturday walk. At Iddu you can have the best single expresso and small butter cookies with it. Next time I will go for dinner, the menu is fantastic.
