Great chocolate waffles with strawberries. The galletes are very nice and the smoothers are also quite good. Excelent service and very nice.
Staff were inconsiderate and rude. When the table beside ours was ready to pay, the waiter handed them the bill and took their card payment be reaching across our table- I couldn’t even see the person I was dining with! Lemon sugar crepe was sub-par. Needless to say would not go back.
Good place for a light lunch in the area! The tables outside are very nice on a sunny day as there’s less people walking next to them compared to the restaurants across the street. The pesto chicken, cheese and tomato galette is very nice!
DO NOT GO THERE – VICTIM OF RACISM!!!PLEASE READ THIS: I went to this creperie with my boyfriend to get a late lunch. The waitress sat us but never came to our table without me going to the counter. We ordered a smoothie and two crepes. The juice came, having a funny looking texture. We waited for about ONE HOUR, the crepes never came. I had to go to the counter to ask what was going on with the order. The waitress told me that they will be there in 5mins. More than 5mins later, nothing came, when everyone in the whole caf had been already served a while ago. My boyfriend and me just walked out, and we suspect that this happened because he was the only Afro-Caribbean individual in the caf. Extremely disgusted from this place!!!
I’ve tried sour and sweet crepes. I do prefer the sweet ones. The pastry is excelent and the ingredients they use are fresh.Staff is quite nice and always ready to suggest you the best option.
The once famous Kensington creperie. Used to be an institution with my family. The ginormous portions presented a problem, as one couldn’t finish both a savoury and a sweet one in one sitting. But now the taste isn’t as it once was and I find other creperies taste better.
Serving a food rarely seen in London, these lovely crepes are easily accessible, just a shop hop from the museums when you spend all your cultural time of course! Although if you are willing to travel into the unknown (ie Hampstead) there you will find the jewel in the crown of London crepes swimming happily in butter. Who doesn’t like butter anyway? quieteating.com
