Fairly small but smart place. The waiters are in bow ties and jackets, but the rest of the decor is fairly relaxed and not overly fancy. The art is a little bit dated. The food was very well made and on par with any good Indian place I’ve eaten at. The menu is pretty much based around the classic dishes, this is not nouvelle-cuisine / modern Indian.

I am from Australia and was recommended this place. Food was absolutely delicious, service impeccable and prices very reasonable. They were very busy for a Tuesday night and we know why.

My expectations where much higher for this place as i tried there food for home delivery and it was flawless. Dunno this time the food lacked flavor and aroma. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was empty just one person taking care of us.

A very ordinary Indian place right in the middle of one of the major tourist hubs of London. The food seemed a bit bland and watered down, then again that maybe because I am not used to Indian food. However, there are alot of other places that are more to my liking but just not so conveniently located. quieteating.com

We stepped in for lunch at this place after a visit to the museums due to it’s convenient location. The appearance of the restaurant is nice but a banana tree inside an Indian restaurant with bohemian paintings on the walls doesn’t really come together. The Service was quick but the food was strictly OK, we ordered Murgh Balti, which came in a Karahi. It arrived bland despite of us giving instructions to make it spicy. The Tarka Daal and the Mix vegetable were average. The Naan/Garlic Naan were soft and fresh. There are many places where your money could buy you better food.Visit it if you must, although I shall not be visiting Again.PS: Be sure to check about the cheeky little cover charge which you are intimated of only when the bill arrives.

Avoid. Still reeling from a night spent on the toilet! Bland, unimpressive going down – significantly worst when coming back up! We have both been ill all night and are considering contacting the council!!!
