This is one of my favourite places and never fails to impress me whenever I visit here. The sandwiches are amazing with their fresh flavours, wonderful tastes and perfect cooking. The service is pretty quick and efficient and this scenario is not only for takeaway alone, if you choose for a dine in option, then too the staff behaves quite warmly and is very attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.
If you are looking for a fine and exclusive dining, then this is not the place for you but if you want to let your hair down and have a good time, then this is a perfect choice. The food is delicious and the ambience is just fine, more on the simpler side. The crowd mostly consists of locals and thus, the overall atmosphere is light.
This is a simple place offering good value food in English and Mediterranean cuisine. The food is awesome and the ambience is quite decent as well with improved decor. The menu has simple but quite delicious options. The service is pretty efficient and the staff is quite friendly as well. All in all it is a decent option for a light meal.
Located on a housing estate abutting the King’s Road, this restaurant is a pleasant surprise. The place is quite wane on the outside and looks pretty old and worn off. In contrast to such appearance the place serves up brilliant diner/cafe food and that too at unbelievable prices. The price range swims around the range of 5 to 10 pounds for their pastas and Italian dishes. But my favourite dish on the menu is the unbeatable Milanese veal with spaghetti only for 9.5 pounds. The restaurant should work on its really dark interiors.
This place is a cheap, run down cafe which almost passes as a fantastic greasy spoon. The quality of food still may not be as greasy, but isn’t that a good thing? One would get all the regular greasy spoon dishes on offer however apart form these, we also get some really good innovative dishes. This place is a hidden gem for all locals!
By a happy accident of a halting bus, we were introduced to the restaurant located near the bus stop where we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious serving of calves liver with sage. The restaurant which looks like a mix between an Italian trattoria and a transport cafe is equally appropriate price wise and has a pleasing ambience. I am definitely going back whenever i find myself in that area.
Fantastic food at a very reasonable price .The restaurant does not look modern but do not bo put off a true hidden gem
