Went in for a quick bite. The margherita pizza was okay. Coffee tasted great. The place was packed and it took a while to get the servers attention at times.
We decided we were craving some good Italian food and since this place was rated to highly, we thought why not try it out? The place was very busy when we arrived at around 5:45, so it’s definitely advised to book beforehand. We ordered a lasagne, spaghetti carbonara and a baked penne with eggplant and roasted veggies. The food was decent I must say, not too expensive which was nice but kind of average for an Italian place. The pastas certainly didn’t blow me away, the carbonara was not very creamy and the baked penne was a little watery. Overall not a bad place, pretty decent but I’ve definitely had better Italian food elsewhere.
I just be missing something. Perhaps it was what I ordered, but I found it to be very bland. The bruschetta was almost tasteless. The chicken with mushrooms was very bland. The place was packed – so perhaps it was just what I ordered…
By far the BEST pizza i ever tasted. I live everything about this restaurant, location is awesome, staff super friendly, presentation of the food ( you make the judgment from the photos ) and most important quality and taste! Best pizza dough i tasted anywhere, in and out of London. Make sure to go over Pierino when you are in town. My compliments to the chef.

Undoubtedly one of the best Italian joints that London has. My boyfriend and I HAVE to eat here at least once, every time we travel to the city. It’s almost a given.The service/hosts are one of the most friendly people I’ve come across. I personally love their wine lists. As for the food, I’m a proscuitto regular. We’ve also had MANY pastas out of which the seafood linguini was excellent, and so was the spaghetti in white wine. My favourite though, is probably the gnocchi. One of the best prepared ones I’ve had. It has a ‘from an Italian home kitchen’ taste to it.The insalata tricolore is on my regular re-orders too. The balance of crunchy leaves, creamy avocado, cheesy parmesan and bacon bits is just to die for.Other than the obvious, we love going there just because they have one of the best locations in South Ken, and it’s lovely to just sit on our favourite table outside, be it chilly or warm. iheartblr.com
