The location of this restaurant is brilliant, surrounded by the museums and opposite south Kensington tube station. Very convenient to organise to get together with friends coming from different parts of the city. Immediately after stepping in you get curried in the smell of Thai curries. The restaurant is spread across three levels and extremely busy. For starters we ordered the sharing platter and Thai dumplings which was very oily. The som tum is my favourite and you can’t go wrong with it in most Thai restaurants. For the mains we had the tamarind duck (great taste with crispy seaweed), massaman curry(beautifully flavoured), cashew chicken(just like you get in a Chinese takeaway) and sticky rice. Good taste but nothing extraordinary. For the dessert we had a chocolate lava cake with passion fruit icecream which did not go well together. The icecream was too overpowering for the cake but both separately tasted great. We also had the chocolate pyramid which was a mousse inside a chocolate coat.
