Happy to see halal Japanese food being served in the food court. Black pepper squid set came in a huge portion with rice, miso soup, salad and pickles. Tasted sweet – looked like they used teriyaki sauce as well. Miso soup was okay if a bit salty. Overall nice.
For fast food type I would say it’s really nice! Quick service and nice tasty food. The ramen is not a traditional one rather tasty. Noodles misslillysjourneys.wordpress.com
Today I enjoyed a mushroom set from this small place in the heart of Westfield.In between searching for a nice deal during this summer sale I had a sucking feeling in my stomach and I had to decide what can I have to spoil myself again 🙂 so my choice fell on to Chikara teppanyaki.I can’t say a lot of words about this place, because my experience is based only on one meal. However, I enjoyed nicely grilled mushrooms followed by egg fried rice and some salad leaves. I also ordered a ‘fried-rice’ tea, which was good, even being brewed from a teabag, the taste of tea is great, but it is only in my opinion, yes I’m also a tea freak :).All in all I enjoyed the meal and quickness of the service they provide. I have to say, this place is not a restaurant, but a on the foot meal.One more remark, the meal even being fully vegetarian is stuffing enough to keep you going for another 5 hours, I had a 30 km bicycle ride after it and didn’t feel myself exhausted energy wise after it.Thank you Chikara, I will definitely come back for something else.
