This is the WORST place ever, very unprofessional and rude staff, salty food and slow service they will only treat you nice if you speak their language. Me and my friend went there and she ordered 2 different dishes to take away. However when she got home and open the bag it was 2 of the same so she didn’t get the 2 different ones that she paid for! Not even that in one of the boxes it was no food just OIL??? She then called in to Flamingo and explained what happen but she didn’t get any apology or explanation because they didn’t have anyone that spoke English.. Unacceptable and it’s not the first time I have had similar experience. If you want to try Ethiopian food I strongly recommend that you go try it else where.
Don’t be discouraged by the name, it may sounds more Spanish than African, but this is a really authentic and delicious Ethiopian restaurant with a large selection of traditionally dishes, most of which are served with Injera (sourdough flatbread).I first encountered Ethiopian food at a restaurant in Germany and have been looking for a substitute ever since then, and I think I have finally found it. My favourite dishes are Doro Wot (a spocy chicken curry), Be’Yaynetu (selection of vegetarian dishes) and Misir Wot (spicy lentil sauce). And its best washed down with some mango juice and honey beer. Cost per person is approx. 20 but it is well worth it. I can’t wait to go again.
