Thai dinner. Went to the Hammersmith cafe for Thai based on lots of good reviews. In my opinion not very good. Overwhelmed by a busy night, long waiting time for food and overcooked veg, soft squidgy broccoli and salty food. Nice waitress but rushed off her feet. Biggest concern was my view of the microwave in the kitchen and how often it was being used. I don’t expect my food to be microwaved. Was definitely cheapish but hardly value for money. Would not recommend the place and would definitely not got back.
A place that doesn’t make you feel guilty about eating out if you feel like it but know you shouldn’t 🙂 The curries are ridiculously cheap, around 4, and definitely pass the taste test. Not a place for an ‘important’ occasion but perfect for a relaxed bite to eat if the meal isn’t the centrepiece of your evening.
I love this food.. This Thai was my favourite Thai when I worked in Hammersmith and I always went there before lunch time, because otherwise you would not get a table. The specials is good tasty and value for money.The curry soup is fantastic and I recommend it for anyone, if you want it more spicy just let the kitchen know, and they make is at hot as you want.I am sad I do not work in Hammersmith anymore.
