Pizza was horrible, never returning. Plus the staff are very rude. I suggest some manners and respect for your customers will be rule number 1 of a list of many complaints.
I would only consider revisiting if I was paid to do so. On arrival, we were greeted with a mild welcome, not unfriendly but not particularly warm either. However, when I requested tap water for a drink, I was told, to my surprise, that this would not be permitted since I was using a TasteCard. Not wanting this petty incident to close a blanket of negativity over the remainder of the evening, I happily accepted a mineral water. As I brought the glass up to my mouth, ready to drink, my eyes were scarred by the sight of a dead, floating fly that stared up at me through its glassy eyes. I asked for a new glass and my request was acknowledged, but with more distaste and rancor than one would have liked. Specifically, the lack of an apology or any sign of embarrassment was possibly more bothersome than the existence of the fly itself.When the waiter returned to ask about our food orders, we informed him that we were not yet ready to order. To this he retorted that he had other clients (one other table!) to serve and if we did not hurry, he would be unable to serve us.The food arrived and was smashed onto the table with such attitude that it sloshed and splattered around the plate enough to reduce anyone’s appetite. Admittedly, the dish I ordered (pasta with creamy mushroom sauce) was quite delectable, but the portion sizes were somewhat pitiful. In summary, any commendation that I had for the food was heavily compromised and indeed outweighed by the abominable service. It is a shame that a place so dainty, with potential to be a success, only manages to chase away hungry people. I do wish the best for the future of the restaurant, but one thing is for sure: they will not be expecting to see me there again.
