I looked up this place on the internet and decided to visit it. The staff here is very polite and but lack efficiency at their work. They seemed to be very inattentive and ignored customers. The food is quite disappointing and comes in very tiny portions and was slightly under cooked. I do not recommend this place.
The decor of the place is beautiful but the food was nothing sort of exceptional even though price and quantity was acceptable. The restaurant should consider changing or training the chef. i placed an order for a grilled lobster which was overdone and dry. The waiter that served us seemed to be having a personal hygiene crisis.
I cannot criticize this restaurant enough. The staff is rude, uncouth and uncivilized. The manager is hardly bothered. The food is pathetic. the prices are ludicrous. Go anywhere else for a much better experience. The washrooms were not in order. The place is a mess. Strictly avoidable. Much better substitutes in the neighborhood.
I went to this place for our anniversary dinner and we are glad that we chose this place. To begin with, the staff at this place was very attentive and polite. The food arrived very quickly. My friend ordered sirloin steaks and he thoroughly enjoyed it and said it is one of the best that he has had till now. I went for mussels and oysters. They were delectable too.
We decided to pop in after a day’s shopping at Westfield. Lord, the lobster here is to die for! We ordered tiger prawns and a whole lobster along with some black rice. The lobster was flavorful, fresh and oh so yummy – highly recommended. Ordered some full bodied white with peach notes which went perfectly with the seafood. We spent a good hour or two making our way through the mains and desserts. The ambience is private and staff attentive.
I will not recommend this place to anyone. The management believes that their customers are big time idiots and they do not have nay knowledge about wines but sadly that is not the case. The serving size is very minimal. I ordered a drink which I fancy but to my dismay the server got me something else. To my horror he also spilled a glass on my laptop bag and my shopping bags and did not regret it. A bad experience I would say.
This restaurant was in the vicinity of the hotel we were staying at and we can not be more content we chose this for a meal. We ordered a menu which served two course meal for under fifteen pounds. The onion soup was one of the highlights of our meal. Amicable staff and reasonable pricing ! Do visit!
