I love this place! The best Indian I have ever eaten. I don’t live in England but whenever I come back I have to go here. The food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly. I have been raving about it to all my friends back in Australia – that is how good it is!!
A good small place at shepherds bush road for North Indian cuisine . They serve some good North Indian curries with wide selection of indian breads and rice . I would advise to order for two or three types of starters and share . The chicken tikka starter is worth having and also starters with prawns is a good choice . Their Chana masala is a good dish of chic peas to have with naan . The dal makhani ( gravy with lentils ) goes well with jeera rice .The gulab jamun served warm is one of my favorite desserts there .

Little gem. Being blessed with a fantastic take-away Indian near home, we tend not to head out too often when craving a curry. When we do, there’s only two choices; one in Barnes or this place. My girlfriend prefers the food here to any other Indian restaurant we’ve used. I have to say, my dhansaks are always spot on. And not too tough on the wallet either.
I have been coming to raj of India for eight years or so and for a local curry house that seves great curry at reasonable prices I think I’m pretty lucky. I’m going to miss it when I move out of the area. Gawd bless you raj of India!
