Had a super meal here with friends – mouth-wateringly delicious steaks after a good seafood starter. Traditional English pub with gastro food and a lovely cosy atmosphere. Very friendly service, we’ll be back!

Had a lovely Sunday roast here as a family of four. I had prawn and crayfish cocktail, beef roast dinner and the Apple and BlackBerry crumble, all of it was top quality and service was great. The waitress was lovely. Top meal.

We fund The Royal Oak pub by chance when returning from Dungeness. Fantastic food, really lovely service and pretty garden. We had a roast, prawn cocktail and haloumi salad. Wonderful! Highly recommended.
