One of the best Indian restaurants. I have been to many Indian restaurants over many years. The Red Chilli Gold is my favourite. Really good food, excellent service and not expensive. This evening (11/7/2011) we had 5 popadoms with various dips, I had a Lamb Vindaloo with Nan and Bombay potato, my wife had 1/2 Tandoori chicken, a bottle of house red (which was excellent), and the bill was under 30. And to top it all, at the end of the meal they provide a complimentary Brandy for the man and coffee liquor for the lady. Although the price is very good, the main reason we use this restaurant is because the quality of the food is very good. When leaving the restaurant they present the lady with a Carnation flower, which is a nice touch.
