About
Caliente is located in one of the most prominent locations in Burton upon Trent. Known locally as "The Blue Posts" (as it was once identified by the [since removed] 'blue posts' that were holding up the porch, and the blue post sign which was at the front of the building) and is a known watering hole of the late, famous artist Lowry (and actually features in one of his paintings!) but now has a reputation for fresh, homemade Spanish Tapas. The venue itself has a capacity for 250 people, of which 90 can be seated in our restaurant area. We have an outside seating area with heated 'jumbrellas' and a front decking area to watch the people coming and going whilst enjoying a cup of Teapigs tea or Illy coffee, or even enjoying a pint of what Burton upon Trent is most famous for... its fresh beers! At night the restaurant is open for serving food until 22:00 but then the after-hours party starts with latin salsa and a more cosmopolitan vibe with fresh cocktails, cocktails and cavas! We hope to see you soon, enjoying the "Heat and Passion of Spain in Burton upon Trent!"
