I dropped by Clarendon Arms a while back to have a bit to eat with a friend. This was my first time there as it was my friends idea, it being his local eatery. On the day there was a live band playing and the atmosphere was rowdy. I felt maybe a little uncomfortable eating there as there was a little too much going on for me to focus on my food. I kept it simple and had the bangers n mash which was pleasing, the mash was mushy and the gravy was spot on. There was also a good crop of pool players on the night which kept things interesting and fun. Overall it was a good night , the staff was welcoming and kept the vibe going all night long.
