Good Healthy Food in a Great Environment. The Good food cafe serve excellent home cooked food, which is prepared from scratch from local and organic ingredients. They cater for specialist diets and have a wide variety available on the menue for such a small venue. The staff are friendly and warm and the environment is very laid back with pleasant music, sofa’s, cushions, wi-fi, plenty of reading material and even an area where my kids can play. They also have a smaller area at the back where a party of about 6 can eat with greater privacy. They never rush clients even when they are busy and they don’t mind customers sitting and drinking tea or using the internet for a couple of hours, during quiet times of the day.I like the fact that they vary the menu often and even do seasonal specials. They are very flexible as to helping you to make up an individual dish if you have a fussy child (or adult!). I have never been disapointed by the venue or the food – except of course when they have run out of a rather tasty looking dish just before closing time!I would definately recommend this place to eat or just chill out with a nice cup of tea, you can even do your shopping downstairs when you finish!
