Dont Bother. Just cannot see what the hype is about this place, ate there last week 12 of us, food was very basic and very naive, please tell me why an italian is trying to be spanish or vice versa just does not work, i knew as soon as my plate of soggy calamari starter appeared with and please note Heinz sachet of tartar sauce did not bode well, wtf in this day an age is a restaurant doing giving you pre-made crap sauce in a sachet come on La Caverna! key to success is homemade its not hard, my sons Garlic bread was just a roll cut in half, pizzas not a spot on Pizza Express we thought it was very poor, best bit was leaving the place, those who rate this place well cant believe what you philistines are prepared to eat!!!
I have been going to la Caverna for 7 years and it never fails to disappoint. The food is truly amazing and very reasonably priced, the lasagne is the best you find anywhere! The staff are fantastic, the restaurant is small and cosy with candles on every table, very romantic, try the sangria, you can’t go wrong with this place! Make sure you book on weekends as it’s a hidden gem, you wouldn’t know it was there to drive past but behind the blinds you’ve got a relaxing, family friendly restaurant, with top notch food and atmosphere, try it, you’ll be a regular like me
