I have visited this restaurant three times and I love it. The choice of menus is varied and are not too pricey. We had vegetable soup to start I had tagliatelle and my husband had lasagne both excellent. I had a berry desert with a small glass of Prosecco poured over that was out of this world. My only complaint is that the tables were too close together I felt claustrophobic sitting in a corner table with diners sitting close by our sides and behind

Not impressed. Ordered butternut squash ravioli – made a point of saying ‘vegetarian’ as the waiters English was not too good. Half way through my first mouthful I realised it was not vegetarian at all. It turned out to be in fact CRAB! (not that I’d ever tasted crab before.) It was utterly revolting – especially to a vegetarian. When I called the waiter he at first insisted that that was what I’d asked for. When I pointed out that a vegetarian would never order crab (a point he didn’t seem to understand) he eventually took it away. By the time my 5 pieces of vegetarian ravioli were serve my dining companions had long since finished their food. We were offered a glass of wine each as compensation. When the bill came they had charged for the wine. When we sent this back (another long wait…) they eventually brought the new bill with the wine omitted. But then I noticed that they had now charged me for the crab ravioli AND the vegetarian ravioli. Then yet another long wait before finally getting the correct bill. The evening was an expensive washout. I definitely won’t go there again. To add insult to injury, they weren’t the least bit apologetic. There are much, much better places to go to in Liverpool.
