Saturday game night this was super full but still managed to get seats for 3 people in maybe 20min tops. Two of the plates came quite quickly and the last one took longer, after asking them to check on it they brought a plate the wrong plate… Then brought the right one.The couple by us, one of the plates took way longer than the other one and then didn’t even bring the prawn and chicken as it was supposed to.I do get it that it was craze full, but should pay more attention so to not give a bad service.
In Liverpool ONE this is ideally central, just minutes away from train stations, and the big Liverpool ONE car park, next to the docks and museums. The staff were very good and as we asked to be moved to an outdoor seat that had become available, there was no fuss and it was no problem, he even came and cleaned the table for us before we sat down. The food was served very quick, from the open kitchen (always a big bonus), it was tasty and well-presented but even though I ordered a spicy chilly chicken, it was severely lacking in the spice department, but a quick chat with the staff, and that was fixed superb service (I forgot the lads name but he said he was from Manchester, now living in Liverpool, the management need to recognise that this lad is great at his job 😉 The fruit drinks were very nice and totally natural, so no crap in them like a lot of other places.
Tried pad Thai noodles.. there was a good Thai flavour but being an Indian found the taste a little bland. Juices were good and filling.. overall a decent experience akhilkohlifoodjourney.wordpress.com
My favourite dish (amai udon) was AMAZING however sadly it has been discontinued since! Great place, a bit too expensive for what it is though!
Food 9/10. The Wagamama brand serves excellent fresh food. Best noodles and rice I have eaten in any restaurant. All starter items are gorgeous but Duck Gyoza especially so. Salamander recommendation for mains are teriyaki soba or katsu curry as both are sublime.Service 9/10. Friendly staff and efficient service make this a great experience. Liverpool Wagamama service has set a high bar that the Chester and Manchester branches are not yet meeting.Location 10/10. Great central location.Cleanliness 10/10. SpotlessValue for money 9/10. Cheaper than a lot of similar restaurants and although slightly more expensive than the average the food quality is more than worth it.
Food is amazing but 3.50 for bottle of tiger beer, I would probably pick Tokyou over Wagamama.
Good food and service, but the staff should speak up a bit as they aren’t always easy to understand
