This place is great. You are going to see some weird people here and there, but nonetheless it’s worth it. You must try the cronuts. They is a wild variety of food stalls, from Mexican food, Japanese food and Indian food. Everything I taste was delicious. This can be a good family outing. Everything there is very cheep and tasty. They also have a bunch of stalls that sell shirts and bracelets and more. Very interesting to walk around there.
Still as reliable as ever, Market has consistently served the best food in Camden for several years. The wine list is compact and keenly priced. Bread is great and served without fuss, fanfare or charge. The lunch and early bird menu offering 2 courses for little 17 is tremendous value considering the skilled, assured cooking that comes out if the kitchen. A la carte is a bit pricier but offers some great choices. It feels like the kitchen takes times to choose good quality seasonal ingredients. A cliche these days but it wasn’t when they started out. If you’re eating in Camden, this should be your go-to restaurant.
Pleasant interior, very friendly welcome by the owner. Brunch menu could be a bit more creative. We had eggs benedict which, as nice as they were, were made with a slice of brown toast, a slice of packet roast ham so more of a homemade version than a proper one. Still, I would recommend as a nice relaxing place to come. Dogfriendly too pastabites.co.uk
Disappointing. Staff unfriendly. Fish was overcooked. Nothing special. Would not recommend.
A tenner well spent. I was just passing this gaff on Parkway yesterday and noticed they were doing a set two course lunch for a tenner. ‘Why not?’ I thought and popped in. I had deep fried sprats to start (the alternative was a ham hock terrine) served in a nice little bowl with an accompanying pot of home made tartar sauce. Excellent. I followed this with a more than reasonable crab linguine (a salt beef dish was the other option). One perfect expresso later I left feeling like I’d committed daylight robbery.
