We went here for late breakfast on Saturday as we were in the area. They served your typical English food. They had good verity and the decor reminded me of the ideal English pub. What was most commendable was the service
A very nice pub for turists. The food is good although this time i ordered the chicken breast and the bred wasnt fresh, it was toasted. The space is very confortable and the service is nice and quick. This pub remembers my first visit to London! Always football showing on the screens…awesome! Very central in Camden, my favourite in London. I’ll came back and recomend you all to give it a try. Cheers
We stopped in this pub for a little break amongst shopping, we were both peckish and it was lunchtime. I had the Oxford arms full English which was better than average, in fact it was much better than a normal pub fry up. It was washed down with a latte that was gone in about two sips as it was exactly the right temperature and very nice indeed. My coupleship partner had the chicken Caesar salad which was a nice large portion, (not big enough for any left for me though) the dressing was ok but there was enough of it so there were no dry leaves left at the bottom which is always a bonus. The lady who served us was very friendly and the food arrived promptly. It was better than expected and the menu had a surprisingly good variety. I’d recommend it on a walk about in Camden for a little stop off. There was also a good selection of beers although it was a bit early to try them!
We came to The Oxford Arms as a big group for a reunion drink. On the outside it’s quite a nice looking pub set in the heart of Camden. The inside was a little grubbier looking though and as there were a lot of us we decided to set ourselves up in the pleasant outdoor beer garden.Drinks here are a bit expensive but they do a nice pint of real ale. I haven’t tried the food but they seem to offer some slightly better than average pub grub. The worst aspect of the pub is the staff, who tend to be rude and miserable, particularly the manager! She seemed quite unhappy that we were enjoying her back garden!
