The Pub has moved with times and although over 150 years old boasts eight four star gold rated rooms, a public bar, popular with the locals that shows all live sport and has great bands every fortnight. Our lounge bar is fantastic for relaxing in with large leather sofas and armchairs with a touch of historic Charlestown. The restaurant is modern, open plan and serves locally sourced food. And if the weather's good our patio and garden is the ideal place to spend a few hours or more!Details

I had never had halloumi prepared in this way – delicious! Great drinks, meals and sides. Really extensive beer collection. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for us to eat outside, but the patio looked lovely. Inside was cozy as well.
went for sunday lunch as we do every 3 weeks ,it was terrible half of the food was missing and what was there was horrible,have not been back since been going there every 3/4 weeks for 2 years,now going the kings arms
Excellent meal, good atmosphere, friendly polite staff.Restaurant and bar busy,but did not have to wait long for meal.
