A small group of us decided to be hella Posh and go to BlueBird…Alas, no MIC sighting but that did not detract from our wonderful experience. The decor is very trendy, with a nod of industrial-chic elements…exposed iron beams on the ceiling, cieling window with glassy/mirror card-like things hanging (clearly describing modern art is not my forte), lots of natural/sexy light (because if it is dark out its rather shadowy) and comfy couches and long table tops. The drinks are expensive but worth it. The bartenders live up to their reputation. To be fair, my drink was fairly basic… A G&T with no frills, but my pals had a Cucumber Garden Martini, a Negroni and some sort of brown drink that I can’t remember the name of but basically was a White Russian with some sort of additional element. Of course, I tried their drinks and immediately was jealous of their choices.

My favourite spot in Chelsea.Bar, restaurant, brunch place… If you like Kensington crowds, good food and design, you cannot go wrong with this iconic place.

I came here for a birthday drink and really liked it! Lots of groups of people, obviously having just finished work and dressed up. I had the pear fizz which was nice. It is a nice place to visit with a group but a bit expensive. 24 for two drinks is a bit much but the atmosphere is nice and its good to watch the good looking bar men shaking the cocktails! Think Tom Cruise in Cocktail!
