A decent all-rounder for dinner or drinks, The Trafalgar is a lively European gastropub situated on Kings Road. A delightful concoction of upholstered chairs, exposed brick walls, tasselled drapes and chalkboards, this place draws out the trendies, the after-workers and all those in-between.Service here is good, although can sometimes be a little slow and the quality of the seasonal menu varies: One visit will have you wild about the food, another will have you wishing you had tried something else. Ive noticed the better experiences regarding food here are always during quieter periods. My favourites here are the Sausage and Mash (the type available alternates during the seasons) and the Grilled Mac and Cheese. The Trafalgar is a 15-minute walk from Sloane Square Tube Station.
