A local Italian, packed on a Saturday night. Very loud and lively. Good for a casual meal with friends but maybe not so great for a romantic evening or special occasion. Food was consistently good quality and flavours but somewhat lacking finesse and no effort is put into presentation. Service is friendly and quick. Again, a good local Italian with solid food but nothing that makes it special. They’ve lost our reservation and we had to wait for ca 45 mins in a pub nearby for a table to become available. The manager gave us a bottle of wine on the house which was very kind. sweervywine.com

Ziani’s is a great place for authentic Italian food in Chelsea. Looking around the restaurant you get a feeling that it is mostly visited by Chelsea locals, which is also reflected in the quite pricey menu and its rather hidden location of the Kings road. However, you will definitely not be disappointed by the food and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody for a first date.Try from their extensive wine list and the freshly home made pasta!
Fast Food. The food may have been good but we were too rushed to have a chance to enjoy it. The service was designed to turn tables and sell product. Table conversation was constantly interrupted by hovering staff snatching away plates and trying to accelerate the pace of each course. It was a most unsatisfactory experience.
Hidden Italian gem in Chelsea. I love going to Ziani’s for the feel of going to a godfather’s venue! It is a small cosy restaurant, with waiters (all Italians of course) who is knowledgeable but if you get the older one, he can always be grumpy. Price is Chelsea so not cheap but you get good food, nicely presented and good selection of wine. You get local Chelsea residents sometimes I would dine next to smart dressed locals who looked like celebrities. I’ve moved from Chelsea now but ever now and then I get this nostalgia of dining at Ziani’s.
