Choccywoccydoodah is an incredible store and really does fulfil some of your wildest chocolate fantasies. The staff are so friendly and truly try to make some of chocolate dreams come to life, they will mix up milkshake flavours for you and let you add anything you want to it for extra chocolate twist. We had a tried a Special Milkshake Flavour one of the staff had just came up with that day- a twist on the White Chocolate Truffle Milkshake. Unfortunately after seeing all the hype Chocolate upon Chocolate covered cakes, walls and floors, the milkshake was a bit of a disappointment. TIP: Do visit Choccywoccydoodah even if it’s just for a look at the Chocolate fantasy land they have created. Don’t forget to try some of their chocolate, or a piece of cake apparently they are to die for and is what Choccywoccydoodah is all about.

Finally got to try the Bar du Chocolat upstairs. I wanted to try the chocolate everything cake (five layers of chocolate cake with truffles) but they didn’t have. I ordered the chocolate cake instead and a lemonade. I then chose to order a plumpie as well (a way better version of a teacake as it has salted caramel inside) The cake unfortunately was a letdown. It was dry and I can’t believe I have to say this but it was bordering on stale. Such a shame. The plumpie however was AMAZING and I still enjoyed wandering around the shop downstairs somewhat in awe at their displays. whatsarahate.blogspot.com

An incredible store, you feel transported to a different world, one made entirely of chocolate. Upstairs is the cafe which is small and charming and service is brilliant. Had a mocha which was such a disappointment though. Wouldn’t rule out going again to try other things on the menu.

My friends birthday had been coming up and she is a huge chocoholic. So I was so ecstatic when I found out about this place. Having heard of all the good reviews I knew this was the place to go. We went there around 5 and there was a line for the cafe. The place was so busy with a stream of people going in and out on the ground floor shop. The entire place had an Alice in Wonderland/ Charlie and the Chocolate Factory feel to it. The shop itself was a dream for any kid and adult. Everything was made out of chocolate, from the tiny statues of dogs to the cakes placed around the whole shop. It’s a place you have to visit, even if you don’t go to the cafe. Plus the shop also has takeaway options of their most popular items such as the hot chocolate. We had to wait 30mins in line before being seated. Even the floor upstairs had the wonderland vibe, with vintage styled sofas and chairs and red walls. We got a table next to the windows and had a nice view of Soho underneath. I imagine it looks even better during the day. We ordered a Milk Chocolate Hot Chocolate each, a Dipping Pot with Dark Chocolate and an Almond and Orange Cake. The hot chocolates looked so good with the whipped cream and curl that were accompanied with them. However I wouldn’t say it was the best hot chocolate ever. The chocolate taste was really nice and smooth but I wouldn’t say it’s anything special. The dipping pot was such a dream. It had strawberries, honeycomb and different flavors of brownies to say the least. It’s perfect for sharing with friends. The cake was delicious. The sponge was so moist and the flavors were balanced. Plus the presentation of the whole thing just made you want to dig in. I loved it. I believe you all need to visit this place atleast once. It truly is an experience and the prices are quite good. I also would like to add that the staff is so nice and cheerful, it just adds to the whole thing.

Stepping into Choccywoccydoodah is like Alice stepping into Wonderland. The incredible designs made entirely of chocolate and cake are insanely detailed and beautifully crafted. Every inch of the store is an intense experience of visual delight. I had a chocolate cake tester which was so thick and chocolatey that I have yet to find its match in London. I dream of that cake. And their hot chocolate is essentially a liquefied form of that cake. It will warm your soul and you will never need to fear dementors again.

Chocoholics paradise! There aint no other way to describe this place. Located on a corner in a narrow street parallel to the well known Oxford street, this place can qualify as a chocolate sculpture art gallery. There’s just so much to see in this small cafe. The lower level contains all the displays of their works of art both large and small, for sale and not for sale. The cafe is on the upper floor and in the evenings you will most certainly find yourself standing in a queue to be seated. Although I desperately wanted to sit and enjoy a cuppa hot chocolate and the dipping pot, I was in quite a hurry and as there was a queue already, I had to make do with picking up slices of cake to have later. I did take a couple of minutes to walk around and snap up a few pictures. One of the girls behind the counter helped me choose from the cakes they had on display since they all looked so decadent that I had a hard time deciding for myself. I finally chose a slice of the chocolate and white truffle cake and another of the chocolate and praline truffle cake. Both were absolutely chocolicious but I really liked the chocolate and praline cake better. Loved everything about the place. I only wish I had visited at leisure so I could have spent more time in there.
