Lovely restaurant (and bar downstairs). Food was all very delicious but I felt it was overpriced for tapas. Generally when eating out youre in a couple, or an even group so I dont understand why restaurants persist on tapas portions for 3, meaning we had to order 2 of everything. The courgette flowers were 5.25 each which was daylight robbery.

Didnt feel badly priced for the excellent experience and atmosphere.Been to Ember Yard a number of times since their grand opening earlier in the year, and as they’ve found their footing the quality of the food has gone up. Getting a table in the evening is always a bit of a challenge, but there’s more space to breathe during lunch times, and service doesn’t feel quite so rushed then.Go if you like a bit of smoke to your meal, as most dishes have some element of charcoal grilling involved. All the tapas dishes are worth a try, including the grilled flat bread as well as the goat cheese stuffed courgette flowers, and for seafood lovers the octopus is especially good. Leave some room also for dessert!
