More often than not, the rush inside / outside a restaurant reflects how popular it is and how good the food is. But we were gladly proven wrong yesterday on our first visit here. Chinatown is always buzzing around the lunch time. So we stepped in seeing most other places full and Far East quite empty. So we – an indian, a Romanian and a Filipino – stepped into a Chinese restaurant in London. Our order – Grilled dumplings, Sui Mai pork dumplings, chicken with fried Ho-fun, chicken fried rice and special fried rice. The dumplings were delicious and I wish we had a larger appetite. The rice was good and the Ho-fun was amazing. What amazed me about the preparations was the subtle balance of ingredients in every dish – nothing overbearing. At 33 including a lemon tea and jasmine tea, it is good value for your money. A definite place to visit again.
