A cute place to start the day over a cup of coffee and Toasties. Great coffee, loved their mortadella sandwiches and the cute little seating space. Warning: Don’t miss their meatballs.

Been a big fan for years but – and I’m really sad about this – they just massively cut their menu. From abundance to parsimony in one move! Goodness knows what the management are thinking. The poor staff just look apologetic. Seems like many long-time customers are similarly taken aback. Hopefully normal service and the old menu will be back soon. Happily there’s lots of great alternatives in the meantime

A great find just from walking past and seeing the large meat cuts hanging from the window. The rustic wooden tables and metal chairs makes it a casual environment to have wine and great chorizo, octopus was well seasoned and buttered beautifully. On my Friday visit, it does get cramped however although worth it!

Decent coffee, always a smile and the fabulousness of CrossTown doughnuts at the ready. I snapped up the eggs with yoghurt which was an easy breezy delicious dream, eaten in the sunshine on the front window benches. Although not the best latte in the area, it’s the one of the best options if you’re after a bite to eat with your caffeine hit! londonbrekkies.wordpress.com

Possibly the best coffee in London. Not many veggie options if you’re eating but definitely good for coffee.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Fernandez & Wells a couple of days ago, and have been busy raving about it ever since. Thought I’d better do the job properly by adding comments to this site. My wife and I enjoyed a (boozey) late lunch here on Saturday 26th March. We asked the very helpful, knowledgeable member of staff to pick us a selection of foods that we could nibble on whilst quaffing their very nice, very reasonably priced wine. We were treated to a selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and a cooked black pudding dish along with freshly toasted ciabatta and olive oil, all o which were fantastic. Several glasses of wine later, food consumed and thoroughly enjoyed we left having spent far less than we thought we would. I would heartily recommend you make a stop if in the area, even if just for a sandwich as these looked amazing.
