Came in for a few drinks during our vacation, and ended up getting some food. The Garlic Meatballs are the most delicious thing I have had in a long while. If you don’t like garlic then go somewhere else. The bloodshot was pretty good, too.
If you like shots and metal music this is your perfect place. While it looks like an average bar on the outside, if you go down the stairs you will discover a dark gothic vault type room. That is where you need to be. There’s not much space but if you are lucky enough to get a table just sit down and pick some shots. They are about 3 and they are quite strong. I recommend stopping there for a few shots before continuing your night out on the town. It is something unusual to take your friends to as even if they are not into that type of music and decor they will appreciate how unusual it looks. darcrose22albionadventures.blogspot.com
If you love metal music and you like rock and roll then this place is surely for you . One more condition you should like garlic too ( as the name suggests that is pretty obvious)There is a beer garden at this place and you are going to love that feature here. I would not say much because I really want you guys to get surprised while you are here . I do not want to ruin the surprise element.
Garlic & Shots – GREAT FOOD!. I have been here many times over the years and (with one end of day exception. Different chef?) have had TRULY EXCELLENT FOOD & very GENEROUS PORTIONS.I particularly recommend the potation skins with aoli, the feta cheese with garlic, the garlic bread, tortilla chips, garlic beer. There are pots of lovely fresh parsley on each table (so that you can suppress that garlic smell to the outside world?).ENJOY!
Completely disgraceful service. This was my first visit and I will not be returning and advising anyone else not to also. Without any reason at all the bar girl was totally dismissive and aggressive after over charging me for a round of drinks, rude thieves.
Disgusting food and dishonest staff. As a garlic and chilli lover, the food was terrible. Possibly the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in London in 6 years. Food was almost indelible. Service was ok but the bar staff are stealing from customers. Bought the exact same round twice and got charged completely different prices – 30 vs 38. I used to go there quite often but this will be my last time.
Most of the food was good, with decent prices. The bread and beer were definitely the best, but the service was horrible and the staff rude.
