Ill start with the positives, because there were one or two. The wanton soup was passable, and the beef in black bean sauce was, likewise, fairly OK.Now for the rudeness: The waiter obviously couldnt have cared less about his diners. Things were as good as thrown at us, and everything from start to finish was rush, rush, rush, as if he wanted us fed and out the door as soon as possible. When it came to carving the Peking duck (inverted commas deliberate see below), he basically assaulted it with a fork and spoon, throwing bits of the dried-out meat every which way.Now for the truly appalling: This was the worst Peking duck Ive ever eaten (and I once had it in Mexico served with corn tortillas instead of pancakes!). The skin was so over-cooked, it scratched the inside of your mouth. The meat was so over-cooked, it was tough and dried out. It wasnt cooked correctly, it wasnt carved correctly, it wasnt served correctly, and, Ill lay you ten to one, it was reheated from who knows when.This restaurant is horrendous. It would shut down in less than a week in a city like Hong Kong or Melbourne. The rudeness and bad food simply wouldnt be tolerated.
