Came to this Kulu Kulu after having had a great dining experience at the Covent Garden restaurant. We were a bit disappointed with our experience this time: the food at this iteration of Kulu Kulu is considerably more expensive (for exactly the same food), and the special order tempura we tried was oily.
You want to have most authentic sushi in this place of the town then this is the place for you. This place is self service so can not comment much on the staff , though everyone there seemed happy to see us .The portions of the food was good and filling,I was pretty much satisfied by this place and will be coming again.
This is one of those rare sushi bars where it suits everyone’s budget. You can personally request the chef to prepare a few dishes for you and he is more than happy to do so.The food is delicious. The prices seem steep if you are on a experimenting spree as the hand rolls are expensive. The size of the restaurant is small which might get too crammed during peak hours.
