I had the Skolemoller (can’t remember the spelling ) and it was pretty crap. It was super dry around the edges and therefore chewy nothingness.
With the signature Scandinavian pastries and breads this bakery is located in a beautiful soho square. The place is lovely and cosy, with good coffee but the staff is not so good
Nordic Bakery is entirely one a kind; the interiors are simple and hipsterish. The food is great, and the popular cinnamon buns are delicious, I paired mine with some espresso, and my friend appreciated the perfectly made capaccunico. the place is simple , dark neutral decor, pretty much what you would expect from a skandinavian style coffee shop.famous for its delicious cinammon buns , i cannot upvote enough how nice they are. pair that with a nice cup of cappuccino (needs a bit more work in terms of coffee choices/plurality i believe ) and a moody English weather and you will have a really nice ‘experience’
Nordic bakery was famed for its cinnamon buns. The inside is lovely, calm and classy. I love its simplicity. The service was very quick and friendly.The cinnamon buns are simply perfect. They are best paired with espresso. Definitely something everyone in London should give a try!
I visited Nordic Bakery with family – Golden Square (Saturday 16th January 2016) and found it to be so disappointing. The staff’s demeanour was like a smacked cinnamon bun and they clearly didn’t want to be there – not rude, but most unwelcoming.The pain au chocolat was under cooked and greasy and as for the much acclaimed Nordic cinnamon buns, they were stodgy, hard and nothing like as good as those I’ve tasted in Oslo and Stockholm. Sorry, won’t be making a second visit
