A calm place with dark furniture & dimmed lights -this makes for rather an adult friendly place than a location for families with kids -may be of advantage depending on what you’re looking for. I was impressed by the quality of dim sums – way better than at Royal China (Fulham), you can really see & taste the flavours & texture of each ingredient inside dim sums. Nothing too creative like in A wong or Yauatcha but very decent quality. Crispy noodles with chicken & black bean sauce also very tasty. Very good value for money! sweervywine.com

Great food in China town.. they serve the unusual compared to others around.. must try the wasabi dumplings.. reservation highly recommended and make sure to ask for a table upstairs.. the basement is too stuffy and loud.

Came here yesterday for my birthday dinner and the restaurant was lovely, calm & polished. The staff were friendly & polite and waited on you very well. For starters I ordered the duck spring rolls & calamari squid and they taested amazing. Then for mains I ordred thai land fried prawns with garlic shoots & sweet basil the prawns were delious also had the flit steak that melted in your mouth cooked to perfection! Singapore noodles and mix vegetables the food was 5*. Would definitely recommend going there and would recommend trying the fillet steak dish.

Pricey restaurant but good food. Great portion sizes with great flavours. Service is good and would defiantly go here again. Drinks are a little pricey and I was a little disappointed with my mojito but other than that everything was great.

Great place for dim sum in China town. What’s great about it is that there’s usually table even when it’s during weekend when everywhere else are busy. So it’s my go to place for chinese in the area.Decent dim sum selection and quality. It does get overwhelmed when it’s busy but usually get by. Dinner is also quite good with decor to match. Prices is perhaps slightly above than your average chinese restaurant around but well worth it. Would recommend.

It feels a bit tacky at times. Like its what a western would expect a Chinese restaurant should feel and look like. Unfortunately the food is also westernized so it lacks the zing of proper Chinese food and unfortunately it is overpriced for what it is. Go elsewhere. quieteating.com

Not really fine dining. For fine dining, i would have expected better service. the average chinese restaurant does not advertise themselves as ‘fine dining’ but generally you go to good chinese restaurants for the food, never mind the service. so i expected more from plum valley.the decor was nice. i loved the flowering tea. it’s not new, but i still love the novelty. food was average. dumplings were very sticky. mango pudding ok. i liked the garnishing, with a roast pork bun, there was a raspberry!
