Deceptively spacious Sam Smith’s pub on Brewer Street in Soho. With a downstairs bar and loads of comfy corners upstairs, plenty of room here and one of the better places for a late drink in this part of Soho. No need to stand on the pavement outside like many places. Good darts area, bar billiards, and the usual SS drinks and low prices.
This very pleasant drinkers’ pub is just round the corner from Picadilly Circus and handy for theatreland. As a Sam Smith’s pub, it serves good beer (though not draught) at a very reasonable price.The Glasshouse Stores is traditional in feel, with lots of comfy corners in which to let the day pass by in the company of friends. As with most Sam Smith’s pubs, food is served during the day. The pub fare is cheap, although unlike the beer it is really not good. Nevertheless, should you discover an appetite whilst enjoying an alpine lager or wheat beer the food will at least allow you to remain out a couple of hours more!Though, like most central London pubs, the Glasshouse Stores gets pretty busy after work, it benefits from a spacious basement level with its own bar. Well worth a visit.
