It all began in Reykjavik, Iceland back in 1981 when Chef Tomas A. Tomasson or Tommi as we know him opened his first burger restaurant called Tomma borgarar. Tommis Burger Joint opened its first restaurant outside Iceland in Marylebone, London in 2012. It was voted the best burger in London by the Independent in 2013. You can now enjoy a Tommi's Burger in various european cities.
