This is a busy cool happening place. I dont think you would have any luck getting a table without a reservation. The table had the deluxe platter to share. I must say it is the first platter anywhere I have had to order a side of chips. The platter is interesting. Looks lovely but the crab was defrosted and not fresh. Snails were tough. Oysters were lovely. Staff were attentive and restaurant was beautiful and well located. Not the best seafood meal/platter I have had. I will not need to try again.

Went out for a meal at The Wright Brothers on 11th November 2017. Everything was great until about 21 hours later when I became violently ill. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and headache. Being sick to a point when only bile and blood was coming up. Met my friend at 18.15 and went to a U2 concert in Trafalgar Square. Wore gloves the entire time as it was so cold. Walked to The Wright Brothers and arrived at 20.30 where we ate oysters and prawns amongst other things. 1 hours later we left, walked to the tube station and went our separate ways. 21 hours later I was violently ill as was my friend. Symptoms lasted for two days for me and three for my friend. Spoke to the Manager on 14th November to advise of the issue. They were very apologetic and offered to refund the cost of our bill. They also told me that I would be contacted by an Independent Food Safety consultancy to investigate within 48 hours. I then called/emailed The Wright Brothers a further five times asking when I would be contacted. Finally after speaking to the Group Manager I was finally contacted nine days later by the Independent Food Safety consultancy. I was then asked if I had been to the doctors and if I could a sample of faecal or vomit. Apparently this is something else I should have been asked when I reported it in the first place but this did not happen either. The Independent Food Safety consultancy also wanted to know when I had eaten on the 11th November. However 12 days later and having been rather ill was a bit hard to remember. I struggle to remember what I ate 3 days ago let alone 12 days prior. I am primarily a vegetarian and very rarely eat fish not a good experience. I was with my friend for 3 hours and the only common point of reference was eating at The Wright Brothers. Doubt it was viral as my wife and children were not effected and neither was my friends girlfriend. Received the report back from The Wright Brothers today exonerating them from any liability. And I quote The investigation findings indicate that it is extremely unlikely that your illness arose as a result of the food consumed during your visit to Wright Brothers Soho. However they still are offering us a complimentary meal and I quote once more I hope you both have a speedy recovery and should you want to take me up on my invitation to have you back in for a complimentary meal (for 2), just let me know.No acceptance of blame but a complimentary meal? Think it says it all.Whilst I am sure that for the most part The Wright Brothers operate a very well managed and successful business; I think that the way that this was handled and the severity of our illness simply is not acceptable.

Loved this place for the seafood selection in the menu. The atmosphere is super nice and the service has been great. It has been my first time and I will definitely come back when I’ll have the chance.

They deboned my fish in record time. I felt embarrassedyet impressed. These guys know their fish. Seriously impressive and seriously delicious. Not cheap, but definitely cheerful.Go as a group to better sample what they have to offer, it would be a shame to stick to one dish when everything is just as delightful.
