We had a really lovely last meal here on out recent UK holiday. It was recommended to us by a friend and was well worth it. The decor was pretty simple however the service was pretty sharp and food very tasty. We all shared a hot and cold meze platter to start and I had the chicken casserole for a main. Only downside was they were a bit lite on wine from the night before which meant their wine list wasn’t all available. All round pretty good value for money in chingford.
Located in an area of Chingford which is now enjoying a wonderfully diverse culinary experience for all locals and visitors alike along a High Road which still feels ‘village like’. My first visit though was marred by an overall lack of attention by the staff which dampened my initial expectations usually enjoyed when I have visited many other local competitors. Upon arrival in a restaurant 75% empty they took 20 minutes to ask if we wanted a drink and to offer any menus for us to browse whilst waiting. A poor start ! Food although was reasonably priced without anything unusual to try out …. Won ‘t be going back there though……,
