Reopened now after renos and this place looks clean and updated. Prior it was rather dingy. This place was packed for a thursday night, and super loud. Nice atmosphere and good sized menu. Ordered the nachos, fish & chips and potato and cheese pie. The nachos were only ok, have had better at other places before and loaded with more toppings. The fish & chips and pot pie were really good, flavorful and fresh. Good sized portions as well, you won’t leave hungry.

Of course nothing to do with the book, the decor is still not bad. I think they had rennovated it recently. They have a 2 for 1 offer on cocktails on weekends, in evenings, so we started the evening with cocktails, which were good and for the discount, a very good deal. Food is average, I ordered artichoke and brie tart, which was quite good but the fish pie (main) was just very okay, nothing great about it.Also, they can do so much better with their service though, a big room for improvement there.
