Great place, awful food. I really liked the nostalgic feel to the diner – it seemed authentic, clean and I enjoyed the music. We all felt excited on our arrival. However, despite the extremely pleasant staff, who all looked under 21, the nostalgia ended as soon as the food arrived. Cheap burgers in cheap bread, frozen onion rings and nothing interesting in the choice of toppings. A real let-down. I think this place could be bursting at the seams if the food was all home-made and perhaps the ‘chef’ would look less bored!
Blast from the past. Great venue great people and great foodbrillo place for a good fun night out this place is an original 50s american diner just as it was 55 years agoyou have to love americana like this!!we love it100 mile round trip and worth it
Bizarre and somewhat misguided nostalgic homage to a mismash of American culture and cuisine. Not overly accurate but a good effort given the location. Good food and enormous quantities but very expensive for a mediocre experience.
Great venue let down by poor food and service. Frozen stodgy shop bought onion rings when fresh ones are cheap and easy to make. Really cheap cut of beef that was sold as steak. All in all a nice gimmick that would be improved by attention to the menu.
