Our friend, one of whom is a chef, had the chance of eating here and knowing him I expected a good review. But the wife had other views. They ordered the Biryani, Daal, Roti and a paneer sabzi of which only the Biryani was wiped clean. Their location is a spot of bother but considering the reach of the city, its good enough for the surrounding. Quantity of the food may have to be looked at but the pricing and taste were average, overall.

Well, I can say enjoyed it a lot.Food was very flavourable, the place is nice and there were many options and a lot of different things. Even after eating a lot and being full, the dessert was still amazing!

Ordered the potato tiki chaat followed by biryani and ras malai for desert. Travelling from qatar I was sceptical that the quality of food would be as good as we get here in the Middle East. I was pleasantly surprised though, the starter was filling, tasty and well spiced. The lamb biryani was also delicious served with a cooling raita and a Salan to moisten the rice. The desert was ras malai, flat milky balls served in a sweet milk sauce delicately spiced with pistachio. All in all an excellent meal – thoroughly enjoyed. I was in Manchester for 4 nights and I ate there 2 times. Excellent service, excellent decor and good food. Hope the quality doesn’t slip.

I went for a quite meal with my wife and son on the 8th October and to say the least it was disastrous. My son was physically sick after having the kid’s meal and no one had the courtsey to check if everything was fine. We decided to get whatever was left packed as we did not want to spoil it for others enjoying there evening. It took ages before the packed food came and the bill took another five years to arrive. The waiter was not really bothered and I only saw any urgency in him when I paid the bill in cash and he thought I had paid less.He humiliated me by saying I had paid a tenner less which he soon realised was wrong and I had actually paid him a lot extra as tip ( which he did not deserve) Won’t go again!

Beautiful ambience and it was quite crowded for a Tuesday evening. I order aloo matar tikki for starters. It was a good portion and really well made. I wish they had more veg starter options. For mains, I had paneer jalfrezi and garlic naan. Liked the taste of both. For dessert I had chilli chocolate tart which was yummy. The taste of the food is thankfully more Indian compared to some others.
