I visited with a friend on a busy Friday night. The atmosphere is clean and simple and the staff we came across were all really friendly. The menu is entirely vegetarian but there’s plenty of choice and every dish we tasted was delicious (highly recommend the gnocchi!). There’s a set-menu style which is reasonably priced. I’m dropping a star because of the issues we had with drinks – our starter came before our wine had arrived, and when it did we were told it was because the restaurant had ‘run out of glasses’. The restaurant was busy but not at capacity and you don’t expect to be waiting for drinks because of a glass shortage – the glasses we had were warm which isn’t pleasant for white wine. Our waiter was apologetic and quick to change our wine to a different bottle when something came out the bottle we’d chosen when he poured our wine – the house white is a good choice and much nicer than the original one we’d opted for!
