Recently visited the Brasserie Abode for the first time for one of their Seafood Platters with a bottle of Prosecco. It was a Saturday at 19:50 and we were greeted pleasantly by one of the staff and were asked whether we wanted to dine downstairs in the Foyer or upstairs …. we plumped for downstairs and were given a choice of tables, choosing one with a view of the entrance and the Brasserie. It was quiet with only three tables occupied. The decor was simple but with clean lines with wooden tables & linen napkins and there was a DJ playing decent relaxing music which was not obtrusive. We were provided with menus and decided on a seafood platter for two with a bottle of Prosecco. The prosecco was of good quality and was delivered before the platter at our request.The platter arrived, was served on ice and was very good (see photo) …. it was fresh, cool and tasty. In fact, better than we expected !In all we thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the service and quality of the food served and would highly recommend giving it a try !
